Christian Leadership
Characteristics of Christian leadership include many virtues. We are all called to lead by example, however, the examples a Christian leader puts forward is under more scrutiny than those established by other individuals. Qualities of Christian leadership include: servant leadership, humility, integrity, and an active prayer life.
A good Christian leader is also a good servant. Jesus set the example of leadership while also being a servant to the people. Servant leadership requires setting aside personal gain, making sacrifices, and putting the needs of others first.

Another characteristic of Christian leadership is humility. This prominent Christian grace is a key quality for an effective Christian leader. Leaders who show humility are able to be great Christian leaders because of their moral character and not from the power of their leadership position.
A leader with integrity can be described as a leader who is honest, consistent, faithful, and trustworthy. To show integrity in daily decision making may not always be the easiest choice, but it is the one a Christian leader should choose. Because of these tough decisions, an active prayer life is very important to keep your moral compass on the correct path.
Prayer is important to everyone but a Christian leader benefits from not only a personal prayer life but to have intercessory prayers. Christian leaders need the support of those around them especially in prayer. Christian leadership takes living a virtuous life. With the prayers and support, a Christian leader will be able to make the right decisions and be an effective leader.
